Spicy Herbed Caramelized Nuts!

minutesI can’t get enough of these! We love them on salads, in smoothies, as a SNACK during Bravo TV marathons!! LOL! They’re sweet and savory, with a touch of spice.

Ingredients
½ cup ½ Coconut Oil
(1) TABLESPOON (1) Agave
(1) teaspoon (1) Vanilla
(1) TABLESPOON (1) Coconut Sugar
½ teaspoon ½ Paprika
½ teaspoon ½ Cayenne Pepper
½ teaspoon ½ Cinnamon
(1) teaspoon (1) Italian Seasoning | optional
Pinch Pinch Salt
(2) CUPS (2) Nuts – I used a combination of Macadamia Nuts, Almonds, and Walnuts
(1) CUP (1) Pumpkin Seeds | optional
(1) CUP (1) Sunflower Seeds | optional
Let’s DO THIS!
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together Coconut Oil, Agave, Vanilla, Coconut Sugar, Paprika, Cayenne, Cinnamon, Italian Seasoning and Salt.
- Stir in the Nuts!
- Spread Nuts into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- Bake at 350º for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Let cool. Break up the nuts and store in an airtight jar or container for up to a week.
- Enjoy on salads or as a quick snack!
